Every treatment here follows a set procedure, and the procedure does not get shortened because the clock says so. If there is not enough time to do the whole thing properly, we would rather book you in again than give you a faster, worse version of what you paid for.
That occasionally means we say no to fitting you in. It is not us being difficult.
The five steps every facial here includes
- Cleansing — so everything after it works on your skin, not on the day’s dust and sunscreen.
- Exfoliation — lifting the dead surface layer so the skin can take in what comes next.
- Extraction, where it is needed — done carefully, and only where your skin actually calls for it.
- A mask — chosen for what your skin is doing on the day.
- The facial massage — the step most places shorten, and the one we never do.

Step 1 of 5
Cleanse
The day’s sunscreen, oil and dust come off first, so everything after works on your skin itself.
What this means for you
- If we say we cannot fit you in today, it is because we cannot do it properly today.
- Your appointment will not be cut short because someone after you arrived early.
- The massage at the end is part of the treatment, not a bonus to be dropped.
The same rule, applied to pain
Threading hurts when it is done quickly and carelessly. Done by someone who has been doing it for decades, on a face they are paying attention to, it mostly does not. Getting there is a matter of experience rather than technique, which is why we do not hand a new pair of hands a face on their first week.
A service is given fully, or it is given another day.
