Threading is a length of cotton twisted into a loop. Rolled across the skin, the twist catches hair and lifts it out at the root. No wax, no heat, nothing left on your face afterwards.
Why it suits faces better than wax
Wax takes everything it touches, including a fine layer of skin. Thread takes hair only. If you use retinol, if your skin is reactive, or if you have ever had wax lift skin from your lid, threading is the safer tool.
Before you come in
- Let the brow grow for two weeks. There has to be something to shape.
- Skip strong exfoliants for two days beforehand.
- Come without makeup on the brow if you can — we need to see the real line.
Standard, advanced, premium
These grades on our menu describe the work, not the person doing it. Standard is a maintenance clean-up on a shape already established. Advanced is a reshape — including someone growing out an over-plucked brow from ten years ago, which takes patience and more than one visit.
Your brows are sisters, not twins. We shape to the face you have, not to a reference photo of someone else’s bone structure.
Natural / Soft Arch
Gentle curve, natural-looking.
The brow rises softly to a peak about two-thirds of the way along, then eases down to the tail. It follows the natural line of most brows, so it looks groomed without looking done — the safest starting point for most faces.
And the thread changes with the hair
Fine hair gets a finer thread, so it grips each hair cleanly without snapping it.
Afterwards
Redness for twenty minutes is normal. Do not touch the area with unwashed hands, skip the sauna and heavy sweat for the rest of the day, and leave makeup off the brow until the evening.
